Tun Dr Mahathir Chaired The 2/62 National Council Meeting
BANGI, 29 JUNE 2024 – The President of Muslim Welfare Organisation Malaysia (PERKIM) YAB Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad chaired the 2/62 meeting at the Tenera Hotel, Bangi.
More than fifty persons comprising Council members of PERKIM Kebangsaan attended.
The following agendas were presented, discussed and passed:
- Minutes of the previous meeting held on 30 April 2024
- Reports on activities held in 2023
- The audited financial report ending December 2023
- Estimated income for 2025 and estimated expenditure for 2025
- Proposal to be tabled at the 63rd Annual General Meeting.
- Report on the Special Task Force of IDIP-KB
- Information on the election of the Committee for National Council Members 2025-2028
Also present at the Meeting were: Deputy President of PERKIM, YABhg Tun Ahmad Fairuz Sheikh Abd. Halim; PERKIM’s Vice Presidents, Prof Dr Mohd Ridhuan Tee Abdullah, Tuan Haji Muhammad Fitri Abdullah dan Prof Dr Ramle Abdullah; Wanita Chief, Puan Sri Dato’ Hajah Noor Hayati Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj; PERKIM’s Secretary General, Tan Sri Dr Mohd Yusof Noor; PERKIM’s Treasurer, Dato’ Haji Abdul Hanif Harun and Assistant Secretary General of PERKIM, YBhg Datuk Haji Mohamad Nordin Ibrahim.
