Awards

Every year, PERKIM will select a number of people who deserve to receive awards that will be presented at the PERKIM Annual General Meeting. This award is given as an appreciation to those who have contributed a lot of energy and material to PERKIM. A total of 5 awards are given which are:

1. Honorary Member Award
   This award is given to state leaders or anyone who has given a lot of support and help in terms of material whether at the National PERKIM, Division or Branch level.

2. Your Service is Remembered Award
   This award is given to members who contribute a lot to PERKIM but are unable to continue their activities due to health problems or other reasons. This award is given to:

• Head of PERKIM at the National or State level.
• Members who contribute a lot to PERKIM.
• Officers who served excellently or contributed to PERKIM.

3. Outstanding Leadership Award
   This award is given to any head of PERKIM at the National, Division or Branch level who is selected based on the following criteria:

• Effective leadership.
• Dedication in service.
• Contributing to religion and society.

4. Glorious Service Award
   This award is given to PERKIM members who meet the criteria below:

• Dedication and earnestness in service.
• Sacrifice energy and material for religion and nation.

5. Goodwill Champion Award
   This award is given to those who excel in the Orang Asli Society every year covering the following characteristics:

• Ongoing meetings
• Social and economic projects to develop the Orang Asli
• Activities that strengthen the spirit of brotherhood among the Malay and Orang Asli communities
• Achievements in preaching
