Collaboration Between IDIP-KL, IDIP-KB and Darul Quran

KUALA KUBU BHARU – 16 NOVEMBER 2023 – Muslim Welfare Organisation Malaysia (PERKIM) arranged a work visit to the office of Darul Quran, JAKIM at Jalan Hamzah in Kuala Kota Bharu.

The visit was led by Dato’ Hj Razali Hj Shahabudin and accompanied by Muhamad Hizam Abdul Rahim, Dakwah Officer from IDIP-KL. The Director of Darul Quran welcomed his guests.

According to Dato Razali, the objective of his visit was to discuss a cooperation and collaboration between IDIP-KL, IDIP-KB and Darul Quran. The discussion focussed on the Standard Operation Procedures for academic management, management of student intake, student hostels and student affairs at Darul Quran, which will be a model for IDIP-KL and IDIP-KB.

The future of ex-students of IDIP was also discussed at length – whether IDIP-KL/KB students can continue their studies at Darul Quran for the Sijil Asas Tahfiz (SAT) and Diploma.

Dato’ Razali also met with an ex-student of ASDAF PERKIM, Osman Hamzah, who is now studying at semester six at Darul Quran. He will complete his studies next year.

Also present at the event were Dr Mohamad Zakuwa Rodzali, Deputy Director- Academic, Head of Lifelong Education Department, Puan Suhaida Che Samsudin and a lecturer, Abdul Halim Mohd Nazri.

Discussions were held in collaboration between IDIP-KL and IDIP-KB with Darul Quran.


Dato’ Razali discussed future directions for the IDIP-KB ex-students – if they could continue theit studies at Darul Quran for the Sijil Asas Tahfiz (SAT) and Diploma.
