PERKIM Extends Condolences to the Family of the Late Ramachandran in Rawang

RAWANG, APRIL 6, 2026Dakwah Executive of the Muslim Welfare Organisation Malaysia (PERKIM), Ustaz Muhammad Farhan Tee Abdullah, led a welfare visit to Bandar Tasik Puteri here to pay last respects to the late Ramachandran A/L Muniandy, the elder brother of Ustaz Muhammad Jais Mariappan Abdullah, who passed away due to a heart condition on the night of April 5.

The delegation comprised seven members, including PERKIM National Dakwah Executive 3 Nur Syahirah Musa; Dakwah Executive 4 Ustaz Sulaiman Ding Yu Zhong; Assistant Dakwah Executive 1 Ustaz Amran Anbarasu Abdullah; Administrative Assistant Umi Musfirah Abdul Ghani and industrial trainee Ummul Mursyida Mat Shuqi, all of whom attended as a gesture of solidarity and support for the bereaved family.

The atmosphere at the family residence was sombre, with more than 50 relatives and extended family members present to pay their final respects.

Funeral rites were conducted in accordance with Hindu customs and traditions in a deeply emotional setting.

PERKIM National’s presence reflected the spirit of unity and harmony among Malaysia’s diverse communities, as well as respect for the beliefs and practices of a multi-religious society.

At the conclusion of the visit, Ustaz Farhan Tee, together with Ustaz Jais Mariappan and members of the delegation, conveyed their condolences to the family of the deceased and presented a contribution as a gesture of compassion and moral support.


Ustaz Jais Mariappan (in white attire) was seen carrying the coffin of his late elder brother to the front of the house, visibly overcome with grief.

 


Ustaz Jais Mariappan paid his final respects to his elder brother, Ramachandran Muniandy.

 


Family members, relatives and friends were deeply saddened by the passing of the late Ramachandran.

 


Ustaz Farhan Tee, accompanied by Ustaz Jais Mariappan, conveyed condolences to the family of the late Ramachandran and presented a contribution as a gesture of compassion and moral support.
