In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All praise be to Allah SWT, to whom we express our deepest gratitude, for by His grace and permission we enter the New Year 2026 filled with hope, reflection and renewed resolve to further strengthen the comprehensive struggle of Islam.
In conjunction with the arrival of the new year, PERKIM calls upon all its staff, members, strategic partners and the Muslim community in this country to make dakwah the central pillar of daily life.
Dakwah is not confined to verbal exhortation alone; it must be manifested through noble character, wisdom in engagement and a sincere commitment to fostering harmony within our plural society.
PERKIM remains steadfast in its commitment to expanding dakwah efforts that are wise, inclusive and grounded in rahmah (compassion), particularly in supporting new converts and those who require continuous guidance.
In the area of welfare, PERKIM will further intensify its efforts to assist the asnaf, mualaf and marginalised communities through well-structured, impactful and sustainable welfare programmes.
The principles of care, compassion and social responsibility will continue to underpin all initiatives, ensuring that every form of assistance extended brings genuine meaning and positive change to the lives of its recipients.
In the field of education, PERKIM remains resolute in empowering knowledge as the foundation for the development of the ummah.
Efforts to enhance Islamic understanding, fardu ain education, character development and the strengthening of contemporary knowledge will continue to be reinforced in line with current challenges.
A balanced education that integrates spiritual, intellectual and moral dimensions is believed to be capable of producing a generation that is faithful, knowledgeable and committed to righteous action.
PERKIM invites all Muslims to make the New Year 2026 a moment of self-reflection and renewal, to strengthen ukhuwah, and to reaffirm intentions and determination in serving for the sake of Allah SWT.
May every effort in dakwah, welfare and education be blessed and accepted as righteous deeds.
